Jun 29, 2015 at 17:11 comment added Keshav Srinivasan @Sai "that the former says that all individual souls are parts of the whole, which is Brahman" Not just individual souls, also matter. We believe that Jivatmas and matter together form the body of Vishnu. This is summarized beautifully in the opening verse of Ramanujacharya's Vedartha Sangraha: srivaishnavam.com/philosophy/vedartha_sangraha2.htm
Jun 29, 2015 at 14:29 comment added Sai I think the main difference between Vishistadvaita and Advaita is that the former says that all individual souls are parts of the whole, which is Brahman, who is synonymous with Lord Vishnu. The latter says that all individual souls are illusions. Brahman is the only reality. Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, God, etc are different forms of the same Brahman. All the best. With regards to attributes, the attributes meant by Advaita when they say that Brahman is 'attributeless' is that attribute implies anything that can be used to describe that being, for example, 'name' or 'form'. All the best sir
