Some people say Sai Baba is an avatar of Shiva while others say it's either Vishnu or Rama.

What is the official position (if any) on this?

Does Sai Satcharitra mention anything about this?

  • All questions about Sai will get different answers and Scriptures (Puranas) didn't mention him. So, some hindus see him as saint, some see him as God (Vishnu or Shiva or Rama) and some even not consider him as God. One can only get proper answer after realization or reaching Nirvikalpa Samadhi. – The Destroyer Jun 1 '18 at 7:05
  • @sv. What is official and unofficial? There is no such thing. – Sarvabhouma Jun 1 '18 at 15:17
  • I guess whoever claims to represent the Sai Baba organization, temple trust, etc. @Sarvabhouma – Say No To Censorship Jun 1 '18 at 15:23
  • @sv. Why did you add "official thing"?? It is subjective for Sai and moot topic. – The Destroyer Jun 1 '18 at 15:58
