  • You can hear the sound when Kundalini crosses Anahata. Its not OM kara. om sound is Pranava which is in higher stages! Commented May 16, 2019 at 14:58
  • Delete it... and check with Gurus. Not here Commented May 16, 2019 at 15:23
  • You should not yourself try to hear it, for it may cause illusions, when in deep meditation, it may manifest itself. So its better to do these kinds of things under the guidance of Guru. Please read Swami Vivekananda's Raja Yoga

The different kinds of Anahata sounds to indicate progress are stated in the Hamsa Upanishad as the Sadhaka enters Dharana.

Nada is heard after repeating japa (mantra) for ten million times.
Nada is of ten kinds:
The first is ‘chini’;
the second is ‘chini chini’;
the third is the sound (nada) of a bell;
the fourth, that of a conch (shankha);
the fifth, of a lute (tantri);
the sixth is the sound (nada) of cymbals (tala);
the seventh of a flute (venu);
the eighth of mridanga (double-ended drum);
the ninth of bheri (a coarse wind instrument);
the tenth of the clouds (thunder).
He may experience the tenth without the first nine sounds.

There may be other sounds (such as Omkara) or experiences too depending on the advancement and the practice one is initiated in by the Guru.
