@Carmensandiego Mlecchas aren't allowed to marry caste Indians. It's a sin for caste Indians to marry mlecchas for sure. – Ikshvaku Mar 4 at 2:32

I am asking because I am a Mleccha convert.I think I can only marry a mleccha woman even if Im a hindu now.because were outside the varna system, and to those saying you can choose a varna this is not so.you cant even do that as a hindu caste person without Tapas. – johny man Mar 4 at 2:53

Yes you'll have to follow the rules of Hinduism then, so you can only marry another mleccha. – Ikshvaku Mar 4 at 2:55

No one is a vedic person by birth. Lord krishna in bhagvat gita while describing the varna and ashram system he clearly mentioned that one is a kshatriya/Brahmin/malechha not by his birth but by his level of consciousness. E.G. brahmins were supposed to be 100% truth speaking personalities which none of them exist today. Even I'm a born bramhim but by looking at my qualifications i am for sure lower than the sudra.

  • "which none of them exist today" Please cite sources for this statement. Also in which verse of Geeta Lord Krishna told about Varna. Add that too.
