The four ashramas in sanathan dharma are: Brahmacharya (student), Grihastha (householder), Vanaprastha (forest walker/forest dweller), and Sannyasa (renunciate).
I heard that Dattatreya does not belong to four ashrams. And he belongs to fifth ashram.
