Is cutting trees a sin?

I want to cut trees to clear my land to do business?

I am ready to sow new trees for every tree cut at some other place.

This land was purchased for doing investment and business only but now I am not feeling good to cut a tree. I feel like I am sinning.

Am I getting over emotional? Am I getting distracted of doing my own karma by fearing of sin?

Also this is a shared land and ownership is shared among my family - mother and brother.
