Goddess Parvati is the power and divine consort of Lord Shiva.
The supreme Devi took birth as Uma, the daughter of Himavan (Himalaya mountains) and Mena. Being the daughter of Himavan earned her the name of Goddess Parvati. She is the Shakti and divine consort of Lord Shiva and resides with him on Mount Kailasa. Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva’s sons are Lord Skanda and Lord Vinayaka.
