कस्मिन्नु भगवो विज्ञाते सर्वमिदं विज्ञातं भवतीति ॥ “What is that, O Bhagavan which being known, all this becomes known.” (Mundaka Upanishad 1.1.3)
न तत्र सूर्यो भाति न चन्द्रतारकं नेमा विद्युतो भान्ति कुतोऽयमग्निः । तमेव भान्तमनुभाति सर्वं तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति ॥ "The sun shines not there, nor the moon and the stars. Nor do these lightnings shine. How could this fire? All shine after him who shines. All this is illumined by his radiance."(Mundaka Upanishad 2.2.10)
यस् तु सर्वाणि भूतान्य् आत्मन्य् एवानुपश्यति । सर्वभूतेषु चात्मानं ततो न विजुगुप्सते ॥ यस्मिन् सर्वाणि भूतान्य् आत्मैवाभूद् विजानतः । तत्र को मोहः कः शोक एकत्वम् अनुपश्यतः ॥ "And he who sees all beings in himself and himself in all beings has no aversion thence. When to a knower discovering unity, all beings become his very Self, what delusion then (to him) and what sorrow?"(Ishavasya Upanishad 6-7)
नान्तःप्रज्ञं न बहिःप्रज्ञं नोभयतःप्रज्ञं न प्रज्ञानघनं न प्रज्ञं नाप्रज्ञम् | अदृश्यमव्यवहार्यमग्राह्यमलक्षणमचिन्त्यमव्यपदेश्यमेकात्मप्रत्ययसारं प्रपञ्चोपशमं शान्तं शिवमद्वैतं चतुर्थं मन्यन्ते स आत्मा स विज्ञेयः॥ "Turīya is not that which is conscious of the internal (subjective) world, nor that which is conscious of the external (objective) world, nor that which is conscious of both, nor that which is a mass all sentiency, nor that which is simple consciousness, nor that which is insentient. (It is) unseen (by any sense organ), not related to anything, incomprehensible (by the mind), uninferable, unthinkable, indescribable, essentially of the nature of Consciousness constituting the Self alone, negation of all phenomena, the Peaceful, all Bliss and the Non-dual. This is what is known as the fourth (Turīya). This is the Ātman and it has to be realised."(Mandukya Upanishad 7)
मय्यानन्तमहामबोधौ विश्वपोता इतस्तात : | भ्रमति स्वान्तवतेन न ममस्त्यसहिष्नुता || " In Me, the shoreless ocean, the ark of the universe, moves here and there,driven by the wind of its own mind (universal mind). I am not impatient." (Ashtavakra Gita 7.1)
मय्यनन्तमहामबोधौ विश्वं नाम विकल्पना | अतिशान्तो निराकार एतदेवहमस्थितः || "In Me, the shoreless ocean, is the imagined illusion of the universe. I am the profoundly tranquil and formless. In this Knowledge alone, I abide."(Ashtavakra Gita 7.3)
उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत । क्शुरस्य धारा निशिता दुरत्यया दुर्गं पथस्तत्कवयो वदन्ति ॥ " Arise, awake; having reached the great, learn; the edge of a razor is sharp and impassable; that path, the intelligent say, is hard to go by."(Katha Upanishad 2.1.14)
