[1]: Something very similar On a side note, althoughthere's also a notion of Pañca-Badrī (पंच - बद्री), can be found inor Sapta-Badrī Verse 3 to 7 from Adhyaya 52 of kedāra(सप्त -kalpa. So this cannot be totally considered as a folk tale बद्री), depending upon sources.
